UPNM, November 13, 2017 – National Defense University of Malaysia (UPNM) and Smart College have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to establish educational co-operation. Sealed education co-operation is the joint venture of developing MBA (Protection Management) and Bachelor’s Degree in Security and Defense. The agreement was signed after a long discussion took place from 2009 after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

With the new program to be offered this will make UPNM continue to be relevant as a premier defensive university in the region, especially in the areas of defense and security in support of national defense and security in tandem with the ever-challenging world of technology development.
Representing UPNM in the MoA Signing Ceremony is Y.Bhg General Tan Sri Dato ‘Seri Panglima Prof. Hj Zulkifli Bin Hj Zainal Abidin, UPNM Vice-Chancellor and witnesses are Y.Bhg Dato ‘Dr. Jesbil Singh, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Industry and Corporate Relations Network), while Smart College is represented by Y.Bhg. Mej Jen Dato ‘Mohd Yunus Bin Long, Chairman of Smart College and witnesses is Mr. Anan Pon a / l Ponnudurai, Chief Executive Officer of Smart College.

Also present at the signing of the MoA are senior officials from UPNM and Smart College.
