Forum on Forensic Psychology: Brutal Murders 🕵️‍♂️🧠

The Faculty of Crime and Investigation at SMART College recently hosted an insightful forum titled “Forensic Psychology: Brutal Murders.” The session featured distinguished speakers Dr. Raja Lope Adam Bin Raja Hussian, a psychiatrist from Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta, who discussed the topic of “murder,” and Professor Madya Dr. Geshina Ayu Mat Saat, a criminologist, psychologist, and EXCO of the Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF). Dr. Geshina explored the concept of “broken windows and shattered lives,” focusing on the psychosocial and criminogenic profiles of killers, victims, and their families.

The forum provided students with an in-depth understanding of the psychopathological aspects of brutal murders, examining mental processes, personality traits, and behavioral patterns of individuals who commit such extreme acts of violence.

This event was an eye-opening experience, enhancing the knowledge of future investigators in the field of forensic psychology.

SMART College, established in 2012 as Malaysia’s first law enforcement and investigation college, continues to lead in specialized education.
